Last Wednesday during our Midweek Holden Evening Prayer service, Pastor Andrew sat down with Beth Graverholt of Justice in Action to share a powerful Good Neighbor story with our congregation.
Justice in Action is an interfaith coalition of 27 Lancaster County faith communities — including First Lutheran — working together to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our neighbors. From food insecurity to adult pre-trial diversion, mental health navigation and eviction mediation, their work shows what can happen when people of faith come together to act for the common good.
In this conversation, Beth shares how organized communities can create real change and why faith communities play such an important role in building a more just and hopeful Lincoln.
Take a few minutes to watch the conversation and hear how collective faith in action is making a difference right here in our community.
