First Members: Offer Input and Feedback Regarding Justice in Action Issues This Sunday

By October 17, 2024News
We are excited to invite First Lutheran members to participate in the Justice in Action Update and Listening Session this Sunday, October 20, at the Activity Center. Starting early at 9:20 AM, this informative gathering will also stand as our Adult Forum for the day.

Justice in Action Organizer, Olivia Butts, will provide an insightful progress report on our faith coalition’s advocacy efforts. Thousands of dedicated hands and hearts have already been making a difference in areas such as affordable housing, mental health care access and expanded pre-trial diversion opportunities in Lincoln and Lancaster County.

As a member of Justice in Action, the session offers a chance for First Lutheran members to be involved in roundtable discussions, facilitated by our First Lutheran’s JIA team leaders. We highly encourage your participation – your thoughts and your ideas can bring significant change.

So, come, join us this Sunday, as we make faith actionable and join forces for justice!
