For the sixth year in a row, First Lutheran will be holding the Kicks for Kids campaign to help put shoes and socks on the feet of kids in need. This year we are expecting a need of 230 pairs of shoes from the 11 schools that we partner with in our community and who will specifically identify the students in need. Look for the Kicks For Kids display in the Gathering Area, starting this weekend and through October 3, and pick a tag for a specific child. The tag will tell you the gender and size of the student to shop for. If you rather, you can also donate money for others to shop for kids which is especially appreciated as prices of shoes have gone up. Shoes and socks must be returned to church by October 3 so they can be delivered to the waiting child. Thank you for helping kids put their best foot forward!
