Las Abejitas Bilingual Education Center at First Lutheran Church is excited to share a big milestone on our journey towards excellence in early childhood education. We’re ecstatic to announce that we’ve hit Step 1 in the Step-Up to Quality program, kicking off our mission to boost the quality of our services.
Our main goal is to reach Step 5 in the next two years. This goal shows our strong dedication to providing top-notch education and care for our students and families. Reaching Step 5 means more training for our teachers, using proven educational methods and ensuring top-quality care for every child.
Besides focusing on quality, we want to give a huge shoutout to the amazing First Lutheran volunteers who’ve been a great support to us. These volunteers have not only boosted literacy programs but have also brought joy to our students.
Also, we recently had a blast celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday with our young learners. They had a blast with Dr. Seuss-themed activities like storytelling and arts and crafts. It was pure magic!
