Did you know it’s been a long-standing tradition at First Lutheran to hold annual soup lunches and dinners during Lent (and Advent, too!) on Wednesdays? It is! And, it’s all because of the committed members serving on the Fellowship Committee! Once again, they will be serving soup at 12:30 PM following the noon Wednesday Lenten worship services and at 5:30 PM prior to 6:30 PM worship.
If you appreciate this opportunity to fellowship with others while enjoying a meal, could you possibly provide a crockpot of soup to share for one of the meals on February 21 and 28 and March 6 and 13? If members don’t help provide soup for the meals, the burden of making soup falls on members of the Fellowship Committee.
