Come explore various materials to express God’s movement in your life in an art form at the Mixed Media Prayer Workshop on Saturday, February 24, from 9:00 am-Noon. This is a time for open expression of the scripture with prayer and art – or “Mixed Media”. Come see how The Spirit moves you to express God’s presence through creative arts. This is a workshop designed for high school students and adults of all ages. Art skills not required or expected.
“Mixed Media” is a prayer practice!
Leading the workshop will be Wendy Grasz and Shirley Knight, both are Spiritual Directors trained by the Seeking the Spirit Within Institute of the ELCA Nebraska Synod. As Spiritual Directors, they each are committed to walking alongside individuals who desire to deepen their personal prayer life and open themselves more fully to revealing God’s plan for them at this time in their journey.
