What an incredible six months we’ve had as a congregation! It’s amazing to see how we’ve grown in faith, deepened our connections with one another and made an impact in our community.
From festive celebrations to quiet reflection, we’ve shared meaningful experiences. Here are a few of the highlights:
• Christmas Worship – A joyful celebration of Christ’s birth with beautiful music and candlelight and a festive fun photobooth.
• Baptisms – A reminder of our promises and responsibilities to all baptized children of First.
• Gifts of Hope – Together, we brought hope to those in need, with record-breaking giving.
• Fall Festival – A fun-filled outreach event of smiles, laughter and community.
• Quilt Blessing – Sending our handcrafted quilts reminded us how small acts of love create a global impact.
• The Gift of an Icon – Learning the story of Pastor Mary Jensen’s passion for icons and her lasting gift to First Lutheran.
• Serving and Caring Initiatives – From “Kicks for Kids” to other efforts, we’ve shown God’s love in action.
• Lego Contest – Who said ministry can’t be fun?
• Celebrating Our Oldest Member – Honoring 105 years of life of one of our cherished members.
