No child should go hungry – especially on the weekends. For eight years, First Lutheran’s BackPack Program has been quietly filling this gap, providing essential weekend meals to students at Pyrtle and Morley elementary schools.
Thanks to your generosity during the August 3rd Noisy Offering, we raised an incredible $1,111 – enough to fund 138 additional backpacks and help fill the need for up to 37 students this school year!
