This Sunday’s Noisy Offering will support Dana Village, an exciting new initiative from Lutheran Family Services that’s transforming the former Dana College campus in Blair, NE, into a community of hope and opportunity.
Dana Village will provide attainable housing and holistic support for young people aging out of the foster care system—helping them gain job training, therapy and financial independence. It will also include housing for other populations, such as low-income seniors, creating a village where generations live, learn and thrive together.
This innovative project is reimagining what to do with an abandoned college campus—turning it into a place where education, community and care come together to change lives. Dana Village could become a national model for supporting vulnerable youth and addressing the challenges of homelessness, unemployment and instability.
