What happens when the traditional characters from the Nativity story all experience the timing of Jesus’ arrival differently? The angels have waited a millennia for the moment to occur (watch the video clip of the angels FINALLY getting to announce the coming of Christ to the shepherds!). For the innkeeper, the night’s events flew by. The townspeople of Bethlehem slept through the moment entirely. And, the animals? Well, they had a different take on the whole experience, too!
Come (the entire congregation is invited!) to the “Out of Time: Christmas Pageant” this Sunday, December 17, at 9:30 AM in the Activity Center when over 40 First members of all ages re-tell the story of Jesus’ arrival from the experience of multiple characters and who remind us that God can, does and will show up in all sorts of moments.
