We’re honored to welcome Pastor Mark LaChonce as our guest preacher for worship on April 18 and 19.
Pastor Mark serves as director of the Bethany Beyond the Jordan Baptismal Site, the traditional site of Jesus’ baptism, and as pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Amman, Jordan—an English-speaking congregation serving people from around the world.
Pastor Mark walks alongside visitors who come to the Jordan River seeking connection, renewal and a deeper understanding of their faith. His work in Amman brings together diverse people from around the world in worship, community and service.
This is a unique opportunity to hear firsthand about the ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land and the ways our global Lutheran family is living out faith in a different part of the world.
Pastor Mark and his wife, Jennifer, will also be joining us for Adult Forum, where they will share more about their experiences and the ministries they serve.
We hope you will join us for this meaningful weekend of worship, learning and connection with our siblings in Christ around the world.
