The Hungry Caterpillar, Hop on Pop, Snuggle Bunny...First Lutheran and our Las Abejitas Bilingual Education Center are partnering together to bring reading to the Center’s young preschoolers. Las Abejitas is also looking for volunteers to help students with homework from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. If you are interested in being a reader on a monthly or biweekly basis or a homework mentor, please email dtkaspar@windstream.net by September 10. All volunteers will need to be fingerprinted by the State Patrol. A volunteer schedule will be set up based on the interest.
