Lent will soon be here and we will be serving a light meal following the Wednesday noon Lenten worship service and starting at 5:30 pm prior to the Lenten gathering at 6:30 pm. Soup and dessert will be on the menu. We are giving soup makers and dessert bakers an opportunity to share their favorite recipes. Soup makers are asked to bring a crock pot of soup that serves ten people. Dessert bakers are asked to bring two dozen cookies, bars, cupcakes or a cake. Those involved in the Dinner & Learning/Adult Confirmation sessions are asked to sign up for the evenings those sessions meet. Signup sheets will be on the kiosk in the Commons starting the first Sunday in February. Please sign up and indicate what soup you will be providing so we know how to plan. Food for the noon meal needs to be at the church by 11:00 am and for the evening meal by 5:00 pm. No meals will be served on Ash Wednesday, February 26. Thanks for your help!
