Sunday Morning Faithful Conversations: Discussing Faith, Justice and Peace

By March 25, 2026Adults, Learn, News

If you’re looking for an informal opportunity to engage in conversations about what it means to live out our baptismal promise to “Work for justice and peace in all the world,” you’ll find a warm welcome at Faithful Conversations.  A varied group shows up in the gathering space near the front entry each Sunday at 9:30 AM, coffee and snacks in hand. The hour that follows includes resources for considering the week’s news through a lens of faith, an opportunity to respond to the texts, sermon or music from worship, quieting practices and prayer. A most recent gathering began with the group’s deep concern about the impact of devastating wildfires on fellow Nebraskans. The March 4, 2026 statement about the war in Iran from ELCA Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry was read and considered.
