There was a great vibe at First Lutheran last Sunday with caring members greeting worshipers as they walked through the doors, energizing worship music (even from an accordion!), kids collecting coins from worshipers for our noisy offering to Lutheran World Relief for earthquake victims in Turkey, a message about embracing a paradigm shift in our lives, an invitation welcoming ALL to God’s table, potential new members exploring the mission and ministry of First Lutheran in New Member 101 class, people of all ages enjoying conversation and making connections during fellowship hour, Kayla Munoz, owner of Las Abejitas Bilingual Education Center, sharing during Adult Forum her plans for opening the new Center at First in June, FaithTrek kiddos learning the books of the Bible through music and the congregation learning an interactive camp song during worship!
