Sunday’s Noisy Offering to Help April Tornado Victims

By August 1, 2024August 5th, 2024News, Serve

On April 26, a devastating EF-4 tornado wreaked havoc on the communities of Elkhorn, Bennington and Blair (just to name a few), resulting in unprecedented loss and destruction of homes and neighborhoods. Families were uprooted, personal possessions were irreplaceably lost and countless lives were forever altered on that tragic afternoon. Immediate aid and support poured in from individuals, churches and relief organizations, including the Nebraska Synod, offering crucial assistance to those affected. Through the Synod’s Disaster Response efforts, the church community has stood united as God’s people, extending aid over the ensuing weeks and months. The recovery process is ongoing and continuous support remains vital. Your financial contributions are as significant now as they were in the immediate aftermath of the tornadoes. This Sunday, the Noisy Offering will present an opportunity to contribute to the Nebraska Synod Disaster Response for tornado relief. Bring your spare change, bills or checks to worship and let’s join together in making a joyful noise for the tornado victims!
