It might sound simple, but a fresh pair of sneakers and socks can completely change how a child experiences school. It’s about so much more than comfort. New shoes boost kids’ confidence in the classroom, help them feel like they fit in on the playground, and keep them safe as they walk to and from school.
Want to make a difference? Here are a few ways you can help:
Donate to Sunday’s Noisy Offering: Your spare change, bills or checks in Sunday’s Noisy Offering go straight toward providing shoes and socks to students whenever they need them, not just during the campaign.
Return Purchased Shoes and Socks by Sunday: If you picked up a tag to buy shoes and socks for a specific student, please bring those items back to the church by this Sunday, October 5, so we can get them ready for delivery.
Volunteer on October 12: Join us for the Kicks for Kids Prep & Pack Party! We’ll meet in the Activity Center on Sunday, October 12, at 9:30 AM to pack up all the shoes and socks for delivery. It’s a fun way to get involved and help out.
Even though the campaign is ending, the impact doesn’t have to stop here. Let’s keep making a joyful difference for students, one pair of shoes at a time!
