Prison ministries continue to be a vital and important ministry for those who are currently incarcerated and those who are transitioning out of incarceration. Our Followers of Christ Prison Ministry congregation, within the walls of the NE State Penitentiary and Correctional Center for Women, along with the FEAST program at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Lincoln, provide vital support and education, sharing the love of Christ for all people and the transforming power of God’s grace.
These ministries are solely funded by donations that come from individuals and congregations. This year’s fundraising and educational event, Freed for Life, will be held on Sunday, November 5, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Sheridan Lutheran Church, located at 6955 Old Cheney Road in Lincoln.
