By March 28, 2024Events, News

“Swingin Into Spring” is set as the theme for the First Friday Jazz concert on April 5 at First Lutheran Church featuring the Andy Hall Combo. Jazz standards with a Spring touch, composed between the 1920s and 1960s, will offer what is sure to be a great concert experience.

Andy Hall, bass player and vocalist, with a rich history of collaborations with renowned jazz artists, Peter Bouffard, a highly sought-after guitarist, Scott Vicroy, known for his mellow saxophone style, and Greg Ahl, recognized for his classic rhythm, make up the talented ensemble. Jump online to hear one of the combo’s previous performances at FFJ and see what an awesome performance awaits you!

The performance will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the church Activity Center, located at 1551 South 70th Street in Lincoln. While there is no admission fee, lunch will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items for the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry.

First Friday Jazz marks its 13th year of concerts and serves as an outreach ministry by First Lutheran Church.
