On Monday, July 16 and July 23, from 6:00-8:00 pm, gather a group of 8 around the table and see where God takes the conversation! That’s the premise of the Table of 8 ministry program. The conversation will center on Parker Palmer’s new book, On the Brink of Everything: Grace, Gravity, and Getting Old. It was written to encourage adults, of all ages, to explore the way their lives are unfolding. It’s not a how-to-do-it book on aging, but a set of meditations in prose and poetry that will open the door for us to share stories, dreams and worries. The book is due out June 26 and is $18.
