Terri Jo Jenkins and her combo will be making their debut at First Friday Jazz on January 5!
Terri Jo is a well-known jazz singer in Omaha and Denver. She and her combo have received rave reviews for their Omaha and Denver concerts which have included appearances at Denver’s 5 Points Jazz Festival, the Estes Park and River City Jazz Festivals and the Nebraska Arts Festival. Although she now lives and works in Omaha, Terri Jo continues her work in Colorado as creator and director of Denver’s annual Song Bird Vocal Jazz Festival.
Joining her on stage will be the members of her combo – Jeff Jenkins on piano, Joey Guilizia on drums and Dale Black on bass.
The First Friday Jazz concert will be held in the Activity Center of First Lutheran Church, located at 1551 South 70th Street, in Lincoln. The concert will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. There is no admission charge, but financial contributions are encouraged. Participants are also encouraged to donate non-perishable food items for the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry.
