First Friday Jazz will be lighting up on Friday, November 1, with The Lightning Bugs! This Lincoln popular jazz trio is a fan favorite at First Friday Jazz and after a hiatus during last season you will want to be sure to catch them this season!
Smooth vocal harmonies in the Mills Brothers tradition are the hallmark of a Lightning Bugs concert. Their performances feature jazz and pop standards from the 30’s and 40’s. The Bugs use smooth vocal harmonies and tasteful instrumental styling to pay respect to such masters as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole and the Ink Spots and an occasional western tune to fill out the show.
Stop by the concert anytime between 11:30 am-1:00 pm and enjoy lunch for purchase on site. Free will donations support this free concert series between October and May so we thank you in advance for your contributions.
