Did you know that Lincoln Public Schools is now an Emmy-award-winning school district?! “The World of Lisbeth” from LPS’ series, “The Seat Beside You”, won an Emmy-award from the Heartland EMMY Chapter!
Yesterday there was a free public screening of the short film and a panel discussion with the filmmakers, staff and families involved. First Lutheran member and Prescott Elementary teacher, Rachel Frank, is an integral part of Lisbeth’s story and is also featured in the film. There is so much to be gained by listening to Lisbeth’s story. But, it is also an example of welcome, inclusion, accompaniment and discipleship in one’s ordinary daily life – Rachel’s life.
