Gather up your change and dollar bills for Noisy Offering tomorrow! This month’s offering will benefit the Lincoln Bike Kitchen, an all-volunteer nonprofit bike cooperative supported by donations. Its mission is to provide – at no cost – bikes, repairs and education to all. They have excellent partnerships with K-12 schools, community learning centers and refugee resettlement groups. Free repairs, use of professional tools and instruction about how to make repairs are available on Mondays fom 5-7 pm. The Lincoln Bike Kitchen was one of the nonprofits featured at our 2022 Gifts of Hope Alternative Market. In addition to your Noisy Offering, consider supporting them year-round by donating gently-used bikes, keeping an eye out for sturdy milk crates that serve as bike baskets or volunteering to repair bikes!
