Bring your pets to be individually blessed in the Nature Center on Saturday, October 1, at 9:00 am or on Sunday, October 2, at 1:00 pm (during the Fall Festival)! All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. St. Francis of Assisi, whose feast day is October 4, was thought to be friendly and loving to all creatures. He wrote a Canticle of the Creatures as an ode to God’s living things, “All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures.”
