After a separation of more than 25 years due to civil war in Liberia, First Lutheran Church member, Anna Furkay, will joyfully reunite with her daughter, Victoria, 31, and Victoria’s sons, ages 2, 8, 10 and 11, on Monday!
Unbelievably, through a separate visa petition, Benedict Barkpeh, Sr, husband of Angeline Wleh and father of young Benedict, also received long-awaited approval to immigrate to the U.S. this week! He will travel on the same flight to Lincoln.
You are invited to help with this family’s immediate needs through donations of gently used or new items. Please bring all donations to the bins, located in the Commons at church.
