This year the Lincoln Food Bank is hosting a summer lunch program at several elementary schools and they are looking for volunteers to help serve these meals. The specifics of this program are detailed in the letter below. We would like to encourage any one who has time to volunteer this summer to check this program out. Please take a moment to read the letter and check your schedules to see if this might be a possibility for you. They are looking for two volunteers for each meal and you could sign up for as many or few days as your schedule allows. Thank you!

Thank you very much for you interest in helping serve meals through the Summer Food Service Program this summer, and for your patience as we’ve worked out the details with our sites.
If you have not already done so through your other volunteering, please follow the link below and complete the Level II volunteer application for LPS. If you sign up to volunteer at Goodrich you will be contacted by Andrea Chandler about a further background check to comply with their rules and regulations.

The site address can be found on the sign up page, but information about parking, where to enter, and to whom to report is listed below. The time of the shift begins 10-15 minutes before and ends 10-15 minutes after the actual service time to allow for a brief training and some cleanup at each site.
