Imagine your Sunday walk helping families in Lincoln and far beyond. That’s what the CROP Hunger Walk is all about—turning simple steps into food and hope for those who need it most.
For 55 years, the CROP Hunger Walk has brought communities together to fight hunger both locally and worldwide. Last year, Lincoln’s walk raised over $22,288, bringing our total since 1987 to about $323,367—and with your help, we can do even more in 2025!
Join us Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church (1200 South 40th St.). Registration is 1:00-1:30 PM, with the walk starting at 1:30 after commissioning. Proceeds this year will support the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry, Northeast Area Food Pantry, Eastridge Food Pantry, Norris Area Pantry, St. Marks on the Campus Pantry, Indian Center, Inc. and Church World Service’s global programs like food packets for refugees, chickens for families and beehives that boost nutrition and income (Learn more).
Walkers: Invite sponsors! Raising $100 or more earns you a free t-shirt. Sponsors: Your gift—whether $20, $50, or $100—truly makes a difference. Join the walk, donate or get more info here.
Can’t walk on October 12th? Eat at Raising Cane’s (403 N. 48th in Lincoln) on September 28th from 4-8 PM, mention CROP Walk and 15% of proceeds go to the cause.
Every step brings us closer to a world without hunger. Let’s walk for change—together.
