I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve First Lutheran as your Transitional Associate Pastor while you discern and prepare to call a permanent Associate Pastor!
I was born and raised in Omaha. I earned a B.S. in Social Psychology in 2000, going to university at night. After graduating from Luther Seminary with an M.Div. in 2017, I served two congregations (simultaneously) in rural southern Gage County, NE, for 4 years. I recently returned to Omaha to help care for my mother, who turns 91 this summer.
I value authenticity, teamwork and clear communication. I’m passionate about helping people see and use their God-given gifts. My favorite thing is making theology accessible and approachable for all ages and abilities. I am also in the process of becoming a Spiritual Director and will be certified in June of 2023.
I look forward to beginning my time with all of you on March 21 and walking on this journey with you!
