Welcome to the 6th Grade Milestone event! During this gathering on Sunday, fifth-grade students and parents engaged in caring conversation about the transition to 6th grade. Reflecting on Genesis 1:27 and Isaiah 43:1, they were reminded they are created in God’s image and that he has called them by name. As a token of this reminder, students were gifted with locker mirrors bearing a sticker that reads “Image of God,” so every time they look into it, they are reminded they are images of God.
