First Lutheran was contacted this week by Clayton Streich, the Lincoln Bike Kitchen volunteer who joined us at 2022 Gifts of Hope. He wanted us to know that LBK volunteer mechanics are in dire need of bike donations so they can keep working their magic. (No wonder their supply’s low! LBK gave away 963 bikes in 2022!)
Now’s the time to get more good quality, no-longer-needed bikes into the hands of LBK volunteers. Spread the word to neighbors and friends! Together, we can provide bikes for adults who need reliable transportation to work or school and to kids who are eager to have wheels of their own.
