What word would you use to desribe your Ash Wednesday worship experience

By February 22, 2021News, Worship and Pray
On Ash Wednesday we welcomed 119 people into our new Sanctuary for worship for the first time in eleven months! The following day we surveyed all who attended to hear how the worship experience was for them. The good news is that 99% of them felt comfortable in the church with the COVID-19 safety protocol we had in place and 100% of them said they would return for in-person worship again.

One of the questions we asked was, “What is one or two words you would use to describe your Ash Wednesday worship experience?” Here are the words that were shared:

Relief (to be back at church!); Unity
Quiet. Distant.
Comforting and Peaceful.
