I once saw a quote by Dick Nogelberg that said, ” If what you believe doesn’t affect how you live, then it isn’t very important.” How about you? What is it that is important enough to affect the way you live? And where can you learn how to do that?
The answer is in the Bible-delving in and learning about the Jesus we are called to follow and imitate. And how better to do that? COME TO BIBLE STUDY! It’s a very informal, casual and informative way to learn about the times of Jesus, his circumstances and how his teachings were life changing then and still are for us today. Yes, especially today! We are living in a day and age where spiritual direction and guidance are desperately needed, where wrong is often times considered right and right is considered wrong. How confused are we as a people and how can we know what to do?
You might wonder how things that were set in Biblical times apply to your every day life? With the direction of our fearless pastors and Vicar, the Word continues to be as alive today as it was in Jesus’ day. (Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is ALIVE and ACTIVE. Sharper than any double-edged sword.”) Discussions are eye opening, directional and often times humorous. Actually opening and studying the Bible enables us to learn even more about the One we love and the reason we are here on this earth. Doesn’t it please you when someone wants to get know you better? Join us in Bible study to show God just how important and applicable His word is to your life. It will be well worth your time! I know it has been for me.
