First Lutheran 201: What’s a Lutheran Anyway?

What’s a Lutheran anyway?

If you’re a new member of First Lutheran, new to the Lutheran church, a lifelong Lutheran or just want to know more about what it means that we call ourselves Lutheran, join us for First Lutheran 201 every Sunday in June from 9:30-10:30 AM. Pastor Erin will lead this four-week class on Daniel Erlander’s book, “Baptized, We Live: Lutheranism as a Way of Life.” Covering topics like history, liturgy and the eucharist, the book gives a foundational understanding of our church’s theology by focusing on Lutheranism as a way of seeing, hearing, teaching and following.

Free copies of the 28-page book are available in the church office. You don’t need to sign up for the class – just pick up a copy of the book and read the first chapter in time for our first session on June 4.
