Grief Class to Begin in July

In our hearts, we all know that death is a part of life. But, the loss of a loved one is one of life’s most stressful events. After the death of someone you love, it is natural to experience grief. There are many ways to cope effectively with your pain and one way is to to seek out caring people who have experienced a similar loss and who can understand your feelings.

First Lutheran is hosting a grief class, “Death and Grief”, that will begin Thursday, July 13, at 6:00 pm. ANYONE is welcome to attend, member or not a member, who has experienced the loss of a loved one. It is a six week class, but you do not have to attend all classes. It is being facilitated by Pastor Bill Petersen and First Lutheran member, Amy Tipton. Please contact Amy if you would like to participate or know someone that does at amyeileen36@gmail.com.
