Participate is February’s FaithTrek Word of the Month

By February 2, 2019Children, Learn, News

The FaithTrek kids will continue their Epiphany journey by exploring options on how they can “participate” in the work God calls us to as disciples. “Participate”, our February word of the month, means to take part, engage, get involved and/or join. Too often we preach all are called to serve, but forget to invite children to be active participants and servants. Sign up to be a communion presenter on the kiosk in the Commons. Be a greeter Sunday morning. Call the Meals on Wheels office at Tabitha and be a delivery route sub on a day when the kids are out of school. Engage the whole family by visiting residents at Tabitha’s Harbor or Cove House or a nearby care center. There are plenty of ways for children to participate!

FaithTrek is for 3 year olds through 5th graders and meets every Sunday from 9:30-10:30 am.
