Thanks for a great gathering last Sunday morning in the Activity Center! It was fun to see and hear your reaction to the proposed plans for our facility. Your presence is indicative of the excitement and curiosity our congregation has for this project.
Our Building Committee has done their best to be true to the basic charge given them by the Council and by all of you – “To make our facility more accessible and truly welcoming to all people.” Randy Milbrath of RDG has tried to be as creative as possible addressing these challenges given our limited financial resources.
At the presentation, someone requested the Building Plans be posted on our website so everyone could study them and offer more feedback. After a quick consultation, the Building Committee and Randy Milbrath thought this was a great idea. So, please have another look at the plans that we now have available online. The one caveat we would offer is that these are preliminary DRAFT drawings. Based on your feedback and a whole host of other factors, including cost, the plans are subject to change. Take a closer look at the plans and send us your thoughts.
