“Swingin Into Spring” is set as the theme for the First Friday Jazz concert on April 5 at First Lutheran Church featuring the Andy Hall Combo. Jazz standards with a Spring touch, composed between the 1920s and 1960s, will offer what is sure to be a great concert experience.
Andy Hall, bass player and vocalist, with a rich history of collaborations with renowned jazz artists, Peter Bouffard, a highly sought-after guitarist, Scott Vicroy, known for his mellow saxophone style, and Greg Ahl, recognized for his classic rhythm, make up the talented ensemble. The performance will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the church Activity Center, located at 1551 South 70th Street in Lincoln. While there is no admission fee, lunch will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items for the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry.
